The Movers & Storers Show is the UK’s biggest trade exhibition for the removals and storage industries. It offers exhibitors the opportunity to meet face to face with hundreds of highly targeted trade buyers in a relaxed environment. Now in its fourth year, the event continues to deliver good return on investment, and is recognised as being the most important event to attend for people who work in removals, storage and self storage in the UK.

The show is completely independent – that means anyone can attend or exhibit, and they don’t need to belong to a trade association. Subsequently, our visitors range from international firms to van and man companies, and all of them are serious buyers.

If your company already supplies or wants to supply this industry, a presence at the show will allow you to:

Statistics

Our first two shows attracted around 1000 visitors each across two days. Last year we restricted the show to one day, and almost 600 visitors came through the doors. This year it is a two day event once again, so we're aiming for 1000 + visitors once more. The last detailed survey we carried out revealed that:

  • 72% of our visitors are decision makers
  • 65% of our visitors deal in both removals and storage
  • 27% of our visitors work in the expanding self storage industry
  • Approximately 65% of people who register will actually attend the show

This year we will once again be using a hi-tech badging system, so detailed statistics will be available to our 2011 exhibitors.

 

Exhibiting Support

If you have a budget for exhibiting at the show but you’re not sure how to get the most out of it, please get in touch. Our staff are event professionals, and can offer you free expert advice on how to achieve your marketing goals. We can also recommend suppliers of promotional products.

 

What is Included

All shell scheme stand packages include the walls of the stand, grey carpet, basic stand lighting, a 500w plug socket, free parking and unlimited staff passes. They also include a basic entry in the Exhibition Brochure, on the website, and in The Movers & Storers Directory. Exhibitors will also be invited to an evening event on Monday 21st November, hosted by the show organisers. The main additional expenses you are likely to incur are furniture hire for your stand and accommodation for your staff.

 

Essential Information

Exhibitors have access to the hall to build their stands in the afternoon of Sunday 20th November. The exhibition is open to trade visitors on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd November, and stands need to be dismantled immediately after the show closes.
