We want your visit to the show to be enjoyable, useful and rewarding. With that in mind, we have designed the following features to ensure that The Movers & Storers Show is not just an exhibition.
The Pound Gates Café and Networking Lounge
This is an open central space with comfy sofas and a dedicated catering unit where you can eat, drink, relax and have meetings, all within the exhibition hall. It is always the most popular feature – a great deal of business is done here, and a lot of introductions take place here. This year we are grateful to Pound Gates for their sponsorship of the area.
The Strategy Plus Learning Zone Auditorium
Each year we work with industry experts to put together a range of free seminars. The programme is designed just a few weeks before the show to ensure that the problems and opportunities we explore are topical and relevant. Previous sessions have looked at how to get into self storage, using social media, lead generation websites, marketing techniques and how to hire and fire legally, plus much much more.
The Basil Fry Truck Show
Back by popular demand, and this year with the support of Basil Fry, we are once again inviting all the removers out there to enter our Truck Show! There are several different categories, all judged by trucking and removals experts, and great prizes for the winners with fabulous PR for everyone who enters. The Simpson Packaging Packer of the Year Competition
Do you think you have the fastest and most efficient crew out there? A wooden shipping container, a huge variety of boxes and export-wrapped furniture (which will all fit – honest), and a stopwatch.
